What does this service do? 

Respite Care Services are temporary supports that give a person and their family, or other primary caregiver, a break from daily routines based on their need. Respite can be planned or used in an emergency situation.

Respite Care can be provided in:
  • A person's home
  • A respite care provider's home
  • A licensed residential site
  • A State-certified camp
  • Other places approved by the DDA

Respite care does not include fees like membership fees at a recreational facility, community activities, travel​ or insurance.
